Sima Turners Company History
SIMA Turners (Pty) Ltd, a division of the SIMA Group of Companies, was formed in October 1964 by Marcel Gaberthuel, who has retired in 2003, and Roland Gaberthuel has taken over as Managing Director ever since.
SIMA Turners (Pty) Ltd, a division of the SIMA Group of Companies, was formed in October 1964 by Marcel Gaberthuel, who has retired in 2003, and Roland Gaberthuel has taken over as Managing Director ever since. After 17 years the workshop floor space became restrictive due to ever increasing orders both new and repetitive, and thus in may 1981, 1000m2 of new premises were bought outright, and SIMA enjoyed a modernisation upgrade to its machine equipment and workshop facilities.

During March 1982 SIMA introduced the Quality Assusrance System SABS 0157 part 2, and is currently completing the upgrade to QC 9000 – 2000.
While remaining in firm control of our growth, SIMA prides itself in its good housekeeping, production, quality assurance management and a history of accurate management, of both short and long term contracts.
Client History
Our client base are diverse and often geographically distant. SIMA enjoys some 85 customers on a permanent basis of which many have been serviced by Sima since 1965.
